The floral arrangement was made with her favorite colors by her son... Matt Johnson. The casket was made by Layci's father. (Layci is engaged to Dave's brother Brian.)

The night before the funeral the family gathered together and each person made one of their moms favorite recipes. Dave's mom was an EXCELLENT cook. This is Dave preparing her cheesecake recipe. She had a family of 8 children so the tradition was that it was prepared on a cookie sheet to ensure there would be enough for everybody.
